Texas Holdem Play Sequence

Playing Texas Holdem poker games at our online poker room are played with No Limit, Pot Limit and Limit options.

Online texas holdem poker play sequence begins with forced wagers upon two players; these wagers are the small and big blinds.

From the start of the small and big blinds, the play sequence in Texas holdem poker will begin with the player following the big blind.

That player will then need to decide whether to call the blind, raise or fold the hand.

Online Texas Holdem Play Sequence

• The two poker players to the left of the dealer button will post the small and big blinds

• Each player is dealt two pocket cards in Texas holdem poker

• The first round of betting

• The dealer turns over three community cards face-up, known as the flop

• The second round of betting

• The dealer turns over one community card, known as the turn

• The third round of betting

• The dealer turns over one final community card, known as the river card

• The final round of betting

• Remaining players compare hands to determine the winner

• The player with the highest hand wins the pot, known as the showdown
